Meet Annamieka
Hi! I'm Annamieka, and I founded Visual Artist Accelerator (formerly known as Let’s Go Deep) in 2018 because I know all too well the struggles that artists face—I am an artist myself, and I believe I was put on this earth to help other artists break through to their unique artistic voice and to create a cohesive body of work in their own style.
How am I qualified to do this? I’ve been teaching and making art professionally since earning my BFA in 2007. I’ve transitioned from offering “paint like me” classes—which are plentiful nowadays and can certainly be useful—to providing client-centric art mentoring. While all of my clients are unique, they share some things in common: They are looking to make epic work in their very own style, and level up professionally.
Some are experienced (even world-renowned) artists. Others are newbie artists who have taken a lot of classes and are now ready to claim their own style. Others are somewhere in between—but all are seeking to evolve. To move forward on their artistic journey and express themselves through their art.
I am my clients—at varying points in my art journey I have overcome the same issues they face. My clients’ challenges resonate with me and inspire me to help them push beyond these struggles.
Through my proven program Visual Artist Accelerator, I help my clients discover who they are and the “why” behind their art and to create art that reflects that in a freeing way. I’ve poured my heart and soul into this course, and I’m proud of the results.

Why I’m Different
I’m here to help you make your own art—I’m not here to teach you to paint like me—and I have a track record to prove it. I’ve been teaching this program since 2018, and it has gotten better with every iteration.
I know how hard it is to make your way as an artist and I take everything that I’ve learned and pour it into this program. This is my life’s work. The program is effective. You do the work, you will get results.
I’ll give you proven systems and structure to accomplish your goals as an artist every single week. I’ve built my own art method based on the processes that I teach and I firmly believe that you’re an artist if you love making art, and you have the right to share in the delight that artmaking can give you.

100% FOCUS : We're going to start by getting clear on your vision as an artist so you can make your studio time count and begin working towards your singular career path right away.
Defining your style: You’ll discover your unique voice and create a custom recipe to make epic work in a reliable process with freedom and ease. I’ll give you everything you need to know to understand art, talk about art, and never feel like you’re out of your depth again. You’ll learn about basic design, color theory, and constructive critique.
Debut your new work: Start your email list, and plan a show to share your new work! Create your artist bio, artist’s statement, and CV so you can apply for professional opportunities.
Building a lifestyle and a legacy as an artist: This program is an accelerator, but the skills we practice are intended to set you up for a life-long art practice. Build your internal sense of self as an artist, your external resource system and experience showing your work, and practice nurturing your audience.

✔️ Guided instruction, delivered via video and written materials. Each module contributes to a powerful shift in your clarity as an artist, and includes personalized feedback.
✔️ Weekly (intimate and brief) live video check-ins, with dedicated one-on-one attention between me and you. When you register I will invite you to sign up for your weekly time slot. These time slots allow for participants in any time zone on earth, and it’s a great way to show me your work, take advantage of external accountability, and set your action step for the upcoming week. All throughout the program we are in touch continually and I check in to keep tabs on your progress, offer you support, and get to know you one-on-one.

Q: What kind of time commitment does this involve?
A: A minimum of two hours per week. The program helps you learn to set aside time for your art no matter what. If you are currently experiencing an unmitigated personal crisis, it’s not the right time for you to participate. But if you’re craving a transformation into freedom and prosperity as an artist, the time is now. Don’t put your art onto the back burner any longer!
Q: Can I really do all of this in 90 days? How much support will I have?
A: You gotta do the work honey. This program includes personalized support through Slack, weekly 1-on-1 calls, and the powerful assignments.
Q: How long do I have access?
A: Your live support (via Slack and video calls) will end after 90 days. The course's written materials can be downloaded for your future reference to keep forever.
Q: I don’t have Slack. Will I be cut off from communication?
A: If you have a smartphone, you can download Slack for free, and I promise that it’s easy to use. It’s as simple as email or a text message, but better organized. Many of my participants are not tech-lovers, but they have easily adapted to Slack and appreciate having our correspondence all in one place.
Q: I live in ______ (Asia, Europe, Australia, etc.). Will the live support be in the middle of the night in my time zone?
A: A: I regularly have participants from all corners of the globe, so I offer standing appointment times at several different times of the day, covering all of the time zones. I get up at 5am to meet with clients in Europe, and often meet with clients in Singapore/Other parts of Asia/Australia in my late afternoon, which is early morning for them.
